Junior Sewing

Create a picture of a sunflower using yarn, felt, buttons and/or other sewing notions.
String buttons on a piece of yarn, no longer than 12". The pattern of the buttons will be the feature judged.
Print the word RIDE on craft foam (help with printing permitted). Hand sew around the word.
Parents, cut the shape of a balloon from craft foam. Exhibitor hand sew around the outside.
Using a sock, make a hand puppet that represents Campbell Amusements midway (eg. clown, such from the duck pond game, horse from the carousel etc).
Any article made from recycled fabric.
SPECIAL: Dress a teddy bear for a day at the fair (5 or less items, securely attached).
SPECIAL: Cover a can with fabric and decorate using sewing notions in a fair midway theme.
Print the words MIDWAY on craft foam. Hand sew around the word.
Create a hand puppet using a sock. Creativity and sewing will be judged.
Machine sew a tote bag using non traditional fabric (placemats, towels, etc).
Any hand-sewn item.
Any sewn item using recycled fabric (jeans, shirt, blanket, etc).
Any machine-sewn article of clothing.
SPECIAL: Any machine-sewn item, NOT CLOTHING.
SPECIAL: Decorate a T-shirt or sweatshirt with a Campbell Amusements midway theme.
SPECIAL: Sew one of the following: cosmetic/toiletry bag, pencil case, jewelry travel bag, reusable lunch bag, zippered bag to store small toys.
SPECIAL: 2 machine-sewn pillowcases.
SPECIAL: Sew a pair of placemats you would use for Thanksgiving dinner.
Machine-sewn pencil case or makeup bag, include a liner fabric.
Any knitted or crocheted article.
Any sewn item using recycled fabric (jeans, shirt, blanket, etc).
SPECIAL: Any machine sewn item, NOT CLOTHING.
SPECIAL: Any sewn gift or toy for a young child
SPECIAL: Quilt block made into a sewn project (eg. potholder, wall hanging etc).
SPECIAL: Any machine-quilted article.
